Episode 1: No Standing Any Time
ARTCAST takes you to Houston for the live performance premiere of No Standing Any Time with choreography by Michele Brangwen and music by 3 time Grammy-nominated composer & trumpeter Tim Hagans. The setting of No Standing Any Time is the world we experience when we awaken between dreams. The subtle sounds and feelings of that space resonate deeply, and challenge us to live wholly in the present.
Episode 2: New Yorkers New Yorking
Award-winning filmmaker Peter Josyph and Michele Brangwen premiere new shorts
created in and about New York City, including Columbus Circle where live trumpet and
dance descend on Broadway.
Episode 3: Invitation
A live performance of Invitation from Houston, with a mystical score by Seth Paynter for
saxophone, Burma bells, woodblock, snaps and gong. The work invites us to unite – both poetically within our own selves – and with each other.
